About Marina

My journey …

I grew up in a small village in Greece, surrounded by nature, kiwi fields, and the steady rhythm of rural life. My parents are farmers, and that simplicity shaped how I relate to people and to presence.

I originally studied cinema, but I quickly realised I was more drawn to people than stories on a screen. That led me to social work, where I spent four years learning how to support and stand alongside people in vulnerable moments.

After graduating, I worked for 2.5 years as a care manager with refugees, offering psychosocial support. That period deepened my understanding of resilience, trauma, and what it means to hold space for human experience in real life.

Wanting to go deeper, I moved to Amsterdam to study psychology. Around that time, my work naturally expanded beyond the academic path. I trained in breathwork in Germany, studied sound healing in Guatemala, and began working with the body as much as the mind.

I’m currently a trainee in Gestalt psychotherapy, which continues to shape how I understand awareness, relationship, and embodied experience.

Alongside this, I’ve developed my practice in breathwork and sound work, bringing together psychological understanding, somatic awareness, and intuitive practice.

Today, my work focuses on supporting people to reconnect with themselves through the body and mind, as one experience.

“Marina made the experience feel like she is always present with me each step of the way. I felt I could express myself freely”

“I experienced how it is drift away to another place in my mind, where it is peaceful and quiet. I didn’t want to come back.”

“The first thing that stood out was the energy that radiated in the room. Marina instantly made everyone very comfortable. Although I didn’t know her, I felt safe to discuss my feelings. ”
